Alternative Ways for Hair Straightening

There is no reason to worry, as there are many home remedies as well which are effective and do not cost much that you can use.

The simplest method is applying a conditioner. A wide variety of conditioners are available in the market. They can be applied after bathing if you apply them properly they can keep your hair straight for the day. While applying them you should thoroughly massage your hair and then comb them according to the style you want.

The hair straightening brushes are also used for straightening hair. While using them you need to comb the hair from their root up to their ends. Though this method may take some time, it is useful and it does not have any kind of effect on hair.

A useful technique for straightening hair is brushing them through after you condition them. After this divide them into sections and curl them tightly with the help of big hair rollers. Once they become dry, you can brush them and they will become straight.

The hair blowers are useful tools as well. Bathing especially with warm water makes the hair straighter. If you blow dry, the hair immediately after the bath they can remain straight.

Home Methods to Straighten Hair

The fastest and easiest way to straighten your hair is to use a straightening iron. If you find that these are too expensive for your budget, you can also use a simple hair dryer for the same purpose. Just remember that these products will straighten your hair only on a temporary basis. The next time you wash your hair, it will regain its natural shape. So you will basically have to keep repeating the process of using a dryer to straighten your hair every time you wash it. There are no home remedies available that will straighten your hair out on a permanent basis, unfortunately.

In order to straighten your hair using a dryer, you can follow this method. Buy a plain and simple hair cream from the market. These should not be overly expensive. Apply this lightly to the entire strands of your wet hair. Make sure you apply lightly, or your hair will tend to clump together and it will look sticky. Use a round brush, or if you do not have this, a fine tooth comb and comb your hair out evenly. Even as you comb your hair, switch on the dryer and follow the comb down the entire length of your hair shaft with the dryer running on the "hot" setting. Once you go through all your hair in this fashion, it will be straightened.

Hair straightening home tips

Unfortunately there is no completely natural method to obtain completely straight hair. Although there are many natural straightening creams available in the market today, most of them contain chemicals that actually straighten your hair while the "natural stuff" just conditions it.

Grate and extract the milk of one coconut and refrigerate it for 45 minutes. Whisk the milk so that you can easily collect the cream that forms at the top. Mix this cream with the juice of 3 lemons and whisk it thoroughly till it thickens. Cover your hair with plastic wrap so that it is completely sealed and leave it on for at least an hour before washing it off. This method will not give you poker-straight hair, but it will definitely help to tame unruly strands and smoothen your hair.

If you want a poker straight look, you can try ironing your hair at home. Make sure that your iron is at minimum temperature before you iron your hair. Divide your hair into several small locks and place each one out on the ironing board. Cover the lock of hair with a thin silk cloth and then slowly run the iron from the top downwards. Do this repeatedly with each lock of hair to straighten it out completely. I suggest that you do not do this often as it will make your hair rough and brittle.
