If you have that many ringworms, then you should try and get rid of them as soon as possible. This is important because while you may not really experience any kind of pain with ringworms immediately, you will still suffer from deficiencies which generally can affect you due to a common fungal infection. Since your ringworm infection has reached such mammoth proportions, you are strongly advised to refer to a doctor for a proper course of medical treatment. At this point in your disease, it is doubtful whether home remedies alone can help you in any way. Generally, home remedial measures are very effective if tried out when the infection has just begun. The reason for this is the nature of the ailment. Ringworm is actually a fungal infection, rather than a worm of any kind. It is a fungus that grows on the skin and continues to multiply. In order to get rid of the fungus, you need to kill the root cause of the infection. It is the fungus that needs to be removed in order to cure you completely. You can use these natural methods along with the medication that your doctor prescribes.

To start with attempting home remedies, you can apply pure concentrated extract of tea tree oil or mixed with a base oil to the round spots all over your body. This will add to any itching or burning you may be experiencing, but it will work towards killing the fungus located on the spot. This is a slow and tedious way to go about curing a fungus, but it is known to work very effectively. You should apply this oil at least about three to four times a day in order to get rid of this problem. The other very useful product to use on a regular basis is a sulfur based soap or shampoo. This is also effective in at least arresting the spread of the infection to a very large degree. One of the commonly attempted and much touted successful home remedies is to tape a penny to your ringworm. The metal used to make pennies supposedly works towards successfully eliminating the ringworm. However, how feasible this is for you to do with such a rampant infection is completely up to you. Garlic juice is also considered to be very helpful in eliminating the ringworm patches. You can add a couple of drops of fresh squeezed lime juice to a teaspoon of garlic juice to sanitize your skin as well.
