A bad hair style decision can completely ruin the way you look even if you have wonderful hair and a perfect outfit. Thus it is extremely important to consider your face cut when you are deciding your hair style. Many hair salons these days have the options of previewing how a certain hair style will look on your face by using morphing techniques. However if your salon does not offer this option, you can keep certain tips in mind to get the best hair cut, and style your hair in a way ideally suited for your face. People with an oval face have a large choice of styles at their disposal since they have an ideal face cut. You can thus experiment with many different hair cuts and hair styles, playing with the length of the hair. Since your face is well-balanced - short, medium or long hair styles will all look equally good on your face. However you should avoid getting a hair cut that covers your face with bangs or hair styles that fall forward on your face. Since you have such perfect features you should try not to cover them. Instead you can easily carry off the slicked back hair style which people with heavier face structures cannot even dream of attempting.

In addition to a good hair cut, you can use other techniques to keep your unruly hair in control. The best way to control unruly hair is by using hair bands and barrettes. You can use barrettes to pull your hair away from the face and pin it down or else pull your hair back in a pony tail. It is important to use a good quality shampoo and conditioner to tame your hair and keep it looking soft and shiny. As far as possible you should invest in separate shampoos and conditioners. When the conditioner is mixed with the shampoo it is not really effective since it gets washed out along with the shampoo. You should allow the conditioner to soak into your hair for a couple of minutes before you rinse it out. You can apply a mixture of ½ cup mayonnaise and ¼ cup milk to your hair around half an hour before you wash your hair. Allow this hair mask to soak into your hair by covering it with a shower cap and then wash it out using a mild shampoo containing an herbal base and lukewarm water. This works as an excellent deep conditioner and leaves the hair soft and silky. Another excellent way of naturally conditioning your hair so that you have soft and silky hair is to rinse your hair using diluted apple cider vinegar or diluted lemon juice. Apart from this, you should avoid drying your hair using a blow dryer since that dries the hair excessively leaving it rough and unruly.
