Dry Hair Treatment

If you have curly and dry hair, you can use moisturizing shampoo and conditioner to make your hair soft and silky. Your hair is very curly, so you will have to try a deep conditioner for your hair. You can also take a hot oil treatment once in a week at your home. Before combing your hair put a little drop of conditioner in your hair and then apply a curling gel to make them smooth and stylish. After washing your hair, comb out all knots from your hair. You can also use a round brush to dry your hair and then use a finishing cream of any brand. The soft conditioners can make your hair strong and smooth. A mask of olive oil and avocado on wet unwashed hair once a week can a nice home remedy to make your hair soft and silky. One of the best home remedies for hair is the mixture of henna, olive oil, honey and plain yogurt. You just mix all the ingredients in a bowl and make a paste from that. Before applying it on your hair, wrap up a paper towel around your neck and forehead. Then make four parts of your hair, so you can apply it easily. If you do this every two weeks, your hair will become soft and silky.

Dry Hair Treatment

The first thing to do in order to improve the texture of your hair is to try to restore its health. The fastest way to take a step in this direction is to cut it short so that you can start changing your methods of taking care of it. Once it is cut short, you must make it a point to leave it loose as often as you can. This will prevent the strands from breaking mid-way and adding to the roughness of your hair. You must also make it a point to stop using plastic combs and hair brushes. Try to use wooden ones, as these will not add to the dryness of your hair as plastic does. You must also make it a point to use conditioner at least a couple of times a week, as this will smoothen out your hair considerably.

You must make it a point to massage warm olive or almond oil into your hair and leave this on overnight. This will strengthen and condition your hair deeply. You can wash it off the next morning with a basic shampoo meant for dry hair. You must also practice hot water fomentation with castor oil in order to make your strands thicker and smoother. Apply the oil on your scalp and wet a towel in hot water, squeeze it out and then wrap it around your head. Wait till it cools and repeat the process at least about five times. This is the best way to ensure beautiful strands.

Dry and curly hair remedies

Curly hair is often the most difficult hair to deal with and manage. Curly hair normally tends to be dry and rough which makes it a lot more prone to becoming frizzy and hence needs more maintenance. Some of the common reasons for curly hair going dry is, blowing drying your hair too much, the overuse of styling products, damage caused by colouring, bleaching or perming and even humidity.

Also, a lot of times, some products use low quality oils that damage the hair over time, therefore it is always imperative to choose a good quality product that is meant especially for curly hair. Therefore try a good shampoo and avoid over shampooing your hair as it tends to dry out, hence making it dry and frizzy, causing it to over curl. Shampoo only once a week as a rule and use a shampoo that contains a good amount of natural oils in order t soften your hair. The use of a good conditioner is also essential to having smooth and soft curly hair, make sure the conditioner is suited for curly hair. Apply the conditioner for at least a few minutes and then rinse it off with warm water. Also it is very important to use the right kind of comb, avoid using combs with narrow teeth as they only tangle the hair more.
