You seem to have a lot of hair problems, but most of them should be easily solved with a little regular care and effort. First of all, the dry hair problem: dry hair is usually simply the result of sebum from the scalp being unable to reach the tips of the hairs. This usually happens with curly hair and less frequently, with wavy hair. Straight hair is usually unaffected by this problem - the sebum spreads over the entire hair shaft quite easily. The simplest and most effective solution to this problem is to comb your hair regularly. Combing is thought to be good because it stimulates the scalp, thus improving blood circulation and production of sebum. It is not clear whether this is actually true, but combing certainly helps to spread sebum from the scalp down along the entire hair shaft. If this is not enough to get rid of the dryness, then you need to start oiling your hair regularly. It is not necessary or advisable to go around with oil on your head all day. Instead, simply apply the oil at night, massaging it into your scalp well, and then wash it off in the morning. Also ensure that your shampoo suits your hair, and does not completely strip it of all oil.

For your dandruff problem, you should first try shampooing your hair thoroughly. Dandruff is essentially flakes of dry, dead skin. Sometimes the only reason why this dead skin flakes off constantly is because, it is not completely washed off when shampooing. Work your shampoo into your scalp thoroughly, and only then wash it off. Sometimes however, dandruff is caused by a fungal infection. If this is the case, you will need to use an anti dandruff shampoo. These shampoos are varied in their ingredients and manner of functioning, so you may need to try several types before you find the one that addresses your specific problem.

Finally, to address the split ends and other damage, you will first need to cut your hair. Split ends cannot be fixed, they must be cut so that the rest of the hair shaft does not get affected and can grow normally. Once you have cut off the damaged portions of your hair, be very careful about protecting it from excessive sunlight, wind, and pollution. Do not use any unnecessary products and treatments on your hair, and comb it gently, only when it is dry.
