Hair loss natural cures Hair quality is affected adversely by malnutrition, lack of adequate water and/or rest, stress and illnesses. Change in environment, increased exposure to pollution or washing hair with hard water can also lead to dry, brittle hair that falls easily. While a certain amount of hair fall is normal, if you are losing hair in large quantities and your hair has thinned, you should check if your diet is balanced and includes vitamins, proteins, minerals and folic acid to promote healthy growth of hair. Leafy green vegetables, broccoli and peas and fruits such as bananas are excellent for the hair. Also drink atleast 8 glasses of water to keep your body (as well as hair) hydrated, toxic-free and healthy. If you are washing your hair with hard water, then use a piece of alum to soften the water before rinsing your hair with it. You can also massage your scalp with a natural oil prepared with 1tsp fenugreek seeds soaked overnight, a few hibiscus leaves and 2 cups of coconut oil. Boil this till the water evaporates and store for use in a cool place. Regularly massaging your scalp with this before washing your hair will promote the general health of your hair, curing dandruff and hair-fall problems. You can also apply a paste of fenugreek leaves on your hair to cure dandruff and encourage growth of hair. Apart from this, use a conditioner after shampooing your hair. Opt for conditioners with UV protection as well leave-in conditioners or sprays that will lock in the moisture in your hair and protect it against the harmful sun rays as well as pollution. Finally remember to detangle your hair gently with a wide-toothed comb and get a trim regularly to get rid of damaged ends and breakages.
