Home Remedies for Thick Hair

Your hair cannot become thin and thick overnight, it will take some time. Home remedies are not expensive or complicated, hence are easy to implement. There are plenty of home remedies that can make your hair thick and long. Home remedies do not have any side effects that are why many prefer them. Changing eating habits and having a well balanced diet can help you a lot. Oiling regularly will definitely help to increase growth of your hair. When washing the hair with water, make sure that the water is not warmer than your room temperature. In fact, you can go for the lowest temperature that you can tolerate. Try to remain tension free and don't overstress yourself. You can also gently massage your hair with coconut or almonds. Drink plenty of water, milk and juices so that you remain healthy. Make green vegetables, eggs, almonds, bean sprouts a part of your diet. It is necessary that you protect your hair from pollution and dust to avoid further damage. Always wear a cap, when you are in the sun as it will prevent your hair from sun damage. Hair can also be made healthy and long by applying mayonnaise.

Naural care for hair care

If you want to have thick hair, the first thing you must do is to increase your intake of vitamin A. this would include fresh fruits and vegetables and their juices. Your diet must have at least five servings of vegetables and fruits like peach, papaya, carrots, musk melon, jujubes, apples, pumpkin and squash. These contain nutrients that will enrich your hair considerably. Do not imagine that if you have oily hair, it does not need any conditioning – this is one of the biggest and most misleading myths of all times. Even if your hair is oily, it still needs to be conditioned at least once a week. You can pick up a conditioner from any shop for this or you can make your own.

Make a pasty mix of henna powder and yogurt and apply this to your hair and scalp about once a month to ensure that you condition your hair well. Be careful with using henna, as this is also a natural dye which may stain your hair reddish brown. You can also apply a mixture of milk cream and olive oil to your hair roots and strands and let it remain for about an hour. Wash with regular shampoo and your will see the difference in your hair. Do remember that you may have to follow these remedies for at least a month to three months to see results.

Hair care home remedies

Hair texture is usually decided by genetics so you can't really change the type of hair you have. However you can improve the quality of hair by taking care of your hair and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The most essential thing for healthy hair is to stick to a healthy diet with plenty of minerals, proteins and Vitamins, particularly B complex found in green leafy vegetables, fruits and salads. Drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water in a day to flush out the toxins and impurities in your body that can weaken the hair. When buying hair products try and opt for herbal shampoos and conditioners and avoid using harsh chemicals in your hair.

Apart from this, regularly massaging your hair with coconut oil and lemon juice or Aloe Vera gel can help to reduce the oiliness and improve blood circulation to encourage hair growth. Application of Indian gooseberry paste on your scalp for 15 to 20 minutes before washing your hair can encourage hair growth. Alternately you can drink the juice of Indian gooseberry or even Aloe Vera daily since they are both excellent for hair, enhancing the growth and quality of hair. Fenugreek seeds are also very good to make your grow long and thick. You can either apply a paste of fenugreek seeds on your scalp or rinse your hair with a mixture of fenugreek seeds soaked overnight in water to encourage hair growth and combat dandruff.
