Acne is a symptom of Polycystic Ovarian Disease and it is because of PCOD that you are suffering acne. One of the reasons that PCOD occurs is because of a hormonal imbalance. Your doctor would probably have told you this as well but to reiterate, PCOD is a disease in which many immature follicles are present in your ovaries. The immaturity is because of ovarian malfunction caused by a hormonal imbalance, usually the presence of androgens. This hormonal imbalance and resulting excess male hormone in your body is causing masculinization of your body and therefore also the acne.

One of the treatments that you will undergo for PCOD is hormonal therapy by which more estrogen is administered into your system. When this happens, most of the problems that you mentioned will go away by themselves. What you need to do in the meantime is be receptive to the treatment, keep a positive attitude, and do not worry, as the condition is completely reversible and with modern medicine, will not have ill effects on your sexual or reproductive life.

Having said all this, let us get to work on your skin. Dryness of the skin is a symptom of inadequate sebum production in your sebaceous glands. Sebum secretion is hormone sensitive, which is why you have acne in some parts of your face. What you need to start with is some salicylic acid as a face wash. Salicylic acid destroys the protein bonds that bind dead skin together and make it easy to fall off. What this does, in net effect, is clear out the dead skin that could plug up your pores. The main reason why acne occurs is not just because of excess sebum production but because that sebum has nowhere to go if the pore is plugged up. This causes the skin bacteria to multiply uncontrollably and start an infection. To respond to this, the body sends white blood cells to the zone and inflames it thus causing pimples. Salicylic acid is available in most stores and should not be a problem to acquire. For your dryness, apply some glycerin-based moisturizer to your face. This will bring water up from your skin and moisturize it. For the dark circles under your eyes, you need to start increasing the iron in your diet by using supplements or by consuming more spinach and onions. It is also advised that you get on the internet and query up, "foods that contain phytoestrogens". This is the plant variety of estrogen that is the female hormone, and is present in most plants, nuts and seeds. This will start to revitalize your skin in due course of time.
