Chickenpox marks cures

Usually, dullness of skin is caused by a generally poor diet. If your diet is lacking in a good mix of all nutrients, you will need to supplement it and eat better in order for your skin to improve. Eating more of fresh fruits and vegetables as opposed to junk food and snacks will go a long way towards improving the condition of your skin. You must try to exclude all fatty food from your diet as well, as this generally has a tendency to make skin oily and sallow. You should also try to include a 30 minute routine of exercise everyday. This will also go a long way towards improving the condition of your skin as well as your general health.

For marks left behind by chicken pox, it is important for you to remember that it may not always be possible to get rid of them completely. You can, however, lighten them considerably. One of the most effective ways of doing this is to apply silicone to your scars. This product is available at select pharmacies, so you may have to hunt for it a bit. But it helps considerably in lightening scars. You can also dab on a mixture of orange juice and aloe vera gel topically to your scars and they will lighten considerably.

Chickenpox marks remedies

Chicken pox sores rarely leave permanent marks unless they are infected or if they are scratched. You should always let the scabs dry and fall off naturally. In order to prevent scarring, keep the sores clean by washing them daily with a soft wash-cloth. Add a few leaves of margosa in your bath water to reduce the itching and prevent infection and scarring. Alternately add a few teaspoons of baking soda in the water before bathing. Keep your nails trimmed and do not scratch the scabs. Apply calamine lotion or sandalwood paste on the scabs and later on the scars to ensure that there are no permanent marks.

Chicken pox scars usually fade with time, but there are some simple remedies to lighten them faster. Regular application of honey helps to remove the scars. Vitamin E oil helps to heal the scarred tissues and lightens the scar over time. Black Abil powder also helps to fade the marks. Apply Aloe Vera gel or Cod liver oil to prevent the scars from deepening and becoming permanent. Turmeric is an excellent remedy for scars. After bathing with margosa water, apply a paste of turmeric and sandalwood powder with rose water on the scars. Apply again before sleeping. Remember to keep the affected areas moisturised so that the skin doesn't stretch and the scars do not deepen.
