Gray hair cures Graying at the age of 26 would qualify as premature graying. This is a rare occurrence, but not completely uncommon. One of the first things you should know about it is that in all likelihood, it is caused by heredity, and therefore very little can be done about it. The only thing you can do effectively is to try and arrest the growth of grey hairs. The body produces a natural hair dye, a chemical known as melanin. It is possible that your body needs an extra surge of this particular chemical. You can consult with a doctor and take supplemental pills to add melanin to your body. This will arrest the problem of graying where it stands.
You must also generally increase your intake of vitamin A, which is very important to maintain good hair health. Carrots, especially, are considered to be very useful in maintaining healthy hair. You can also apply carrot juice to your hair. If you want to get rid of the grey hair on a short term basis and not resort to using artificial hair dye, you can apply henna to your hair. Henna will stain your hair strands red or black, depending on which kind of henna you choose to apply. Both varieties of henna are available in powder form quite easily.
