Acne remedies

Pimples are caused by the blockage of sebaceous gland (by dead skin cells) coupled with the P.acne bacteria.

You can choose from a variety of over-the-counter creams and gels that contain either Benzoyl Peroxide or salicylic acid . Benzoyl Peroxide tends to make your skin dry and flaky and so you should use a moisturizer daily. As your skin will tend to be a little raw and sensitive, I suggest that you use natural moisturizers to help soothe your skin. You can use a mixture of Coriander and Mint Juice along with honey as it will reduce any inflammation caused by the treatment.

Although dirt does not cause blackheads, it is necessary to follow a regular skin care routine, which would include regular cleansing. Try to wash your face with warm water at least twice a day to reduce the level of bacteria present on your skin. Make sure that you do not try to pick your pimples as this will only spread the infection. You can also use a face pack made out of Fuller's Earth and gram flour at least twice a week in order to give your facial pores a deep cleansing.

Once your pimples have cleared, make sure that you follow your skin care routine, to prevent them from recurring. If your face does not clear up, it would be advisable for you to visit a dermatologist for a stronger prescription medication.
