Hair coloring tips

As far as the hair itself is concerned, there is no real reason why the hair dye should not hold as well at the temples as it does at any other place. The hair on your head is all more or less the same, the only difference may be that the hair at your temples is a bit thinner. This however should not interfere with the dye's ability to hold to the hair. Perhaps there is a problem in the way that you tend to apply the dye at your temples. Make sure that you apply the dye thoroughly and evenly over all your hair, spreading it carefully from root to tip.

It is also possible that the hair dye ends up remaining on your temple hair for less time than it does on the rest of your hair because you leave it for last and the whole process takes a long time. If this is the case, you should reverse your procedure every alternate time, by beginning at the temples and then moving on.

I have never heard of salt being useful in helping dye to hold, and cannot think of any reason why it should work. In any case, as mentioned before, the hair on your head is all the same, so if the rest of your hair does not need salt, why should the hair at your temples?
