Straight hair seems to be one of the most desired fashion statements today. However, before choosing to straighten your hair, you might want to think about whether it will actually suit your face cut. There's nothing worse than making a decision on the spur of the moment only to regret later on that it wasn't really worth it. With straightened hair, that is all the more true given the fact that to get your natural curls, you will have to wait a long time for the natural hair to grow from its roots. It is unclear whether you indicate the usefulness of a regular comb while straightening your hair or if you are talking about the commercially available straightening combs. Whichever may be the case, it is important to understand that neither will prove particularly useful if you do not take proper care of your hair. Effectiveness of any method for straightening ones hair is not standard. Given the variables like genetics, hair strength and durability, dietary nutrition as well as the way your hair reacts to a variety of treatment may change how effective a treatment is on your hair, when compared to how effective the exact same treatment is on another person.

Without the help of an electric hair straightener, you could straighten your hair a bit, by using a fresh coconut as a straightening agent. Grind some coconut in a blender until you get a whole glass of the juice and squeeze a lime into it. Put it into a refrigerator until you see a frothy layer on the top and massage this into the scalp. For 20 minutes allow some steam to flow through your hair or, as an alternative, you could wrap a hot towel over your head for an hour. Later wash this out with a shampoo. Using a hair straightener is a fairly more straightforward method. However, you must make sure that the hair is dry as this will prevent heat stress and damage. Before starting, you should also apply some defrizzing serum that will help control the straightening process while also supplying the hair with the required oils and moisture to last through the intense heat it will be put through. However, do not use too much of the serum as it could possibly lead to your hair looking dirty and greasy. Start straightening the hair by moving from the top of your head and working towards your neck. Press each section to make sure that the curls smoothen out.
