Healthy hair natural remedies Before you begin any hair care regimen or treatment it's important to identify your hair type, and accordingly follow a routine. Your diet is the most important factor, that you need to carefully regulate to have healthy hair.
Oily hair is a condition that is caused due to over secretion of the sebaceous glands. Eating lots of salads, fresh fruits, green leafy vegetables, yogurt, and baked and grilled dishes, while avoiding fried and greasy foods, milk products and red meat helps a lot.
For dry hair it's important to increase your consumption of low cholesterol, polyunsaturated oils like sunflower oil, margarine, fruits and foods that are rich in Vitamin B. Raw vegetables, wholemeal bread, brown rice, pulses, liver, bananas, oily fish and nuts, would constitute a good diet for dry hair, along with a supplement of Vitamin E capsules. Salty and fatty cheeses are best avoided.
For normal hair a diet of low fat fish, sprouts and pulses would be advisable, while for someone with dull hair, a mineral rich diet would be recommended, with green vegetables, nuts, shrimps, oily fish, whole grain cereals, lentils, and milk.
