A glossy skin or a skin that seems to emanate a shine can be achieved by proper skin care and ensuring that the skin is rejuvenated, hydrated, and continuously exfoliated. It is also important that you follow skin care tips like eating a proper diet, as the skin is a reflection of ones overall health. Dietary changes that you would want to try out include changing a large part of your diet to a vegetarian one and consuming very little fatty foods like cheese and butter. It also helps a great deal if you can consume seafood or increase your intake of vitamin E supplements. Exercise is the other important part of this equation, not only to ensure even weight distribution but also to ensure that the blood circulation improves. When you have an improper circulation, the skin does not receive the nutrients that it requires, this leads to a higher accumulation of dead skin.

To start working on your skin, the first thing that you need to do is to get a moderate sun tan. This is easy and only requires that you be in the sun for five to ten minutes a day at the most. This will start to improve the color of your skin to a healthier tone. Next, you should start increasing your intake of water by doubling your current consumption. Dehydrated skin is prone to the build up of toxins and can also result in your skin seeming wrinkled. Exfoliation is the next step. Many of the skin problems that you are facing is probably because of the accumulation of dead skin so to deal with this, get a solution of salicylic acid and wash your face everyday with this formulation. After applying the salicylic acid, apply some lemon juice from a freshly squeezed lemon to your face and then take some salt or sugar and rub it over the skin of your face. This will start to slough off the loosened dead skin from your face and reveal a newer, lustrous layer of skin. This might take some days and washes to start showing some effect.

You mentioned that your skin is quite oily so this means that you have a hyperactive sebaceous gland. Sebaceous glands are glands that are responsible for creating the oil on the skin, which is also called sebum. If after every wash you replace the lost oil with substitute oil, this will reduce the sebum production. For this, apply a few drops of extra virgin olive oil to your palm and rub it over your face.
