Care for oily skin by vitamin C and Vitamin D

I am 21 with oily skin. I do not have any skin problem. But my forehead is darker as compared to rest of my face. Please tell some good quick home remedy. I avoid going in sun from 9am to 4pm.

Avoiding the sun is a good first step to ensuring that the further darkening of your skin is arrested. Just ensure that when you do this, you also increase your intake of vitamin D through supplements, as this is an important vitamin that is synthesized by the skin when exposed to sunlight. Oily skin is sometimes a natural response to hormonal changes in the body as it usually occurs just after the onset of puberty. Unfortunately, this also causes acne as a side effect. What you need to do is to substitute the oil that is coming out of your forehead with olive oil. Olive oil is very beneficial to the skin and will provide it with the nutrition it requires..

You should also attempt to bleach your skin. There are many over the counter bleaching agents like those that contain hydroquinone and Tretinoin, which are very effective. Tretinoin is steroid-based and works by reducing the activity of the skin pigment creating cells, melanocytes. A natural alternative is the application of vitamin C extract or vegetables and fruits that are high in vitamin C content. The two most effective candidates for this are lemon and onions. Make some onion juice by dicing an onion finely and then squeezing the juice out of the pieces. Then, add some freshly squeezed lemon juice to the onion juice. This forms your skin bleaching solution using the most natural alternatives. Apply this solution to the face as you would apply paint to a wall, by waiting for one coat to dry before applying the next. Exhaust all the juice that you have created and then wash off the solution using some salicylic acid. This is a common acne treatment that works by removing the layers of dead skin. This will visibly show results if you perform this every day for the next one week.

To arrest the excess oil production, you need to fool your sebaceous glands that are responsible for skin oil production, that there is sufficient oil in the skin. This can be done by simply substituting sebum - the skin oil - with another type of oil. Try extra virgin olive oil for this purpose. Put a few drops of the olive oil to your hand and rub it over your face. This will reduce the production of excess sebum and the oil itself is easily absorbed into the skin and does not make the skin look as oily.
