Diet and exfoliation for the treatment of pimples

I am 24 yrs old girl, suffering from post-pimple scars. Also skin is dry with open pores and is sagging before time due to hereditary reasons. I have got 2 kids so does child birth cause aging of skin?

Childbirth does affect your skin, mostly because of the reduced estrogen level. However, this is not a valid reason to attribute, if it has been a while since your last child was born. There is a possibility that your skin appears to look old because you are probably unable to rest your body enough, and this will inevitably show on your skin as well. Acne scars and post-pimple scars require constant attention and abrasion, to be dealt with along with proper skin care. The first step that you have to take is to give more time to yourself, and start treating your skin better.

There are many skin care tips to deal with these kinds of skin problems. The first treatment that you need to start with is exfoliation. This is the simple technique of removing dead skin from the face, which reveals a new and more lustrous layer beneath. The tools that are required to do this are some salicylic acid, lemon juice and salt or sugar. Salicylic acid is a normal acne treatment that works for getting rid of pimple and pimple marks by clearing out the debris from the pores and allowing oil to pass to the skin freely. You can use this in this situation, as well to remove any dead skin layers that have built up. The next step is to use some lemon juice applied to the face and then rub with the sugar or salt crystals. What this does is, it sloughs off the skin that has been broken up by the salicylic acid. This is a natural alternative to the use of micro-beads. This treatment if done once a week and will start to show results in a few weeks time. Removing acne scar requires the same technique however; you need to pay more attention to the area of the scars. Cosmetic surgeons usually are able to achieve faster results when removing scars, by using aggressive techniques, like lasers; to burn down the skin to a proper level, thus causing micro-wounds in the skin that heal like normal skin.

Another angle to this aspect of rejuvenating your skin is to start working on your diet. Dietary changes that you should look at include the consumption of more fruits and vegetable and less fats and meat. The biggest contribution is to increase your consumption of vitamins and minerals. This basically means that you need to take vitamin supplements and mineral supplements like calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc. Exercise is also a crucial element as it improves the circulation and thereby allows your skin more nutrients to rejuvenate itself. Additionally, toxins can also be excreted from the system.
