Hair care tips It's important to follow a regular hair care routine to ensure that you have healthy and beautiful hair.
- Use a natural shampoo - Natural shampoos are much safer than any chemical shampoo. Make sure that the shampoo you use is pH balanced and meant specifically for your hair type. Avoid using a conditioner that is heavy, instead opt for on that is nourishing. Rinse your hair well with cool water for shine.
- Avoid washing or rinsing your hair too often, something that we invariably do in summer, when the weather's particularly bad. Rinsing your hair too often will make your hair dry and also washes out the natural nutrients and oils from your scalp.
- Using a blow drier on a regular basis is also harmful, and can even cause hair breakage.
- Hair styling very often involves the use of chemicals, and it's important that you consult a professional stylist and find out what best suits you hair type.
- Massaging your scalp regularly, even with a bit of hair oil, is beneficial as it promotes the natural production of oils in your scalp.
- Wet hair looses its elasticity, leaving it particularly vulnerable, which is why you should always avoid combing your hair while wet, to avoid breakage.
- Water in swimming pools contains a high amount of chlorine, and it's important that you wash your hair thoroughly after a swim, to get rid of any chlorine residue.
