For good hair growth, rich protein diet of eggs, beans and soy should be taken

I am a 23 yr old. My hair does not grow every month. I trim them but it does not go beyond the shoulders. Please suggest remedy for this as it is going thinner day by day.

Long flowing hair is one of the most desired of features that add to a person's beauty. Most of the media will constantly almost brain wash people into wanting to have the kind of hair that we only see on the television, being sported by some supermodel. While a number of people will give up, attaining that perfect hair isn't really impossible. However, a tremendous amount of hair care and overall health of the body is very important for growth of healthy hair. While a lot of people believe that the most important function of the hair is to add to an individual's appearance, the hair actually provides a detailed overview of the general health of the body. The cells that make up the hair are some of the fastest growing cells in the human body. This also means that the hair cells require a large amount of energy for their rate of hair growth. When the hair looks and feels healthy, chances are that the health of the entire body is in great condition. However, if there is a problem in the body, the systems within the body will actually cut off all energy supplies to the hair and route them towards the organ that requires the energy on a higher priority. This will result in a visible degeneration of the hair. The hair will cease to grow as well as, after becoming extremely weak, start to fall off. On an average, human hair will grow at a rate of 6 inches every year, growing a little faster during the winter months and a little slower during the summer. While it is not possible to grow your hair to great lengths in a short period of time, if the requirement is urgent, you could take the help of easily available wigs or hair extensions. However, some home remedies and a balanced hair diet will help your hair reach its optimal level of growth. A healthy intake of vitamins and minerals are essential in keeping your hair in good condition. Other substances that will help significantly include magnesium, silica, zinc as well as inositol, folic acids and biotin. A substantially high intake of protein is also essential as studies have shown that a deficiency of protein leads to an acute thinning of the hair as well as a retardation of the growth cycle. Good sources of proteins that you could use include eggs, beans, soy and yogurt. One must also avoid the excessive use of appliances like hair dryers and heating irons as they cause hair damage, thus causing the hair growth process to be significantly stunted.
