Oily Hair Natural Treatment
There is no real remedy needed for oily hair – it is possible that the sebaceous glands on your scalp are producing too much sebum, the oily substance that is produced to protect the skin and the hair, but in all probability it is just that you do not wash your hair correctly or often enough, leading to a build up of sebum on your scalp and hair. Hair does not really have its own oil; what we commonly describe as oil is the sebum produced by the sebaceous glands on the scalp. If you do not wash your hair often enough, sebum might build up, causing your hair to look oily and limp. Also, if you do not shampoo your hair properly each time you wash it, the sebum might not be washed off adequately.
Try to increase the frequency with which you wash your hair. Most people wash their hair daily, and this might be advisable for you too. In addition, make sure that you lather the shampoo in your hands, then work it into your hair and scalp gently, and leave it in for at least three minutes before you wash it off. Try changing your shampoo if this does not yield the required results.
