Betamethasone Dipropionate Cream is essentially a topical corticosteroid. It is used to cure skin problems like itching, redness and other inflammatory issues. Corticosteroids are a class of drugs that work by suppressing the inflammatory response of the body. This is useful when you have allergies and need immediate relief from the symptoms of an autoimmune disease. If your doctor has prescribed you this medicine for black scars on your toes, then your doctor feels that you probably have an allergy and has prescribed you medicines accordingly. You could always consult a dermatologist as well in case it is a skin problem and not an allergic reaction.

A possible reason for the scars on your toes is decreased blood circulation. In such a case, you should do maximum exercises of the legs and feet apart from the whole body to promote blood circulation. To start with skin care, wash your feet regularly with salicylic acid so as to get rid of all the dead skin that may have caused the scars. The next step is to exfoliate using a pumice stone. This will help you to rub off the upper layes of dead skin. There are also many other homemade remedies that you can resort to get rid of the scars on your toes. Vitamin E is a very helpful agent that helps the skin to regain its original complexion and glow. Application of vitamin E oil over the scars can lead to substantial lightening and eventually even the complete removal of the scars. One of the other possible remedies that you can adopt to get rid of the scars is to use a natural bleaching or skin lightening agent like lemon juice or a vitamin C solution. Keep your feet dipped in this liquid for at least 30 minutes every day. You will start seeing the difference in the darkness and intensity of the scars in a few days.

If none of these homemade remedies work, you can finally resort to using Tretinoin as a solution for these scar removal. Tretionin is the acid form of vitamin A and is available as a cream or gel in the market. It is generally used a treatment method for acne, pimples, scars and sun-damaged skin. It takes around 6-9 weeks to see a noticeable difference after using this cream. You should apply the cream and leave it overnight. In the morning, you should scrub it off to get rid of the noticeable flaking. After the cleansing, ensure that you apply a water-based moisturizer because it makes the medicine all the more effective. Talk to your doctor about this treatment before you use it.
