Scars from chicken pox blisters should not be touched because they are highly infective and are filled with virus itself. Since the infection was four years ago, the infection is no more in your body but, evidently, the scars still are. Chicken pox scars are extremely difficult to remove without laser surgery's help but there is some help that you can get from home remedies that could alleviate the condition. There are two parts to dealing with this problem. The first involves rebuilding the skin that might have been lost in the infection. The scar would just mirror the contours of the skin after tissue loss thereby giving a crater like appearance. The second part of the treatment is to lighten any hyperpigmentation in the area.

Tretinoin is a skin treatment that you should try out. Tretinoin works by building up collagen in your skin and this can be of some use to treat the scars.

No skin problem is left untreated by using Vitamin E oil. Make it a point to use vitamin E oil on the scars at least twice daily. In fact, you could even coat the scars with honey daily. This will not only ensure that the scars fade but will also help you get a soft and supple skin. Apart from this, you need to take care of your diet. Your diet needs to be richly supplemented with Vitamin K. Substances like spinach, broccoli, liver, lean meat, and all sort of dairy products will help in getting rid of the scars that you have on your face.

You can also rub the scar daily with lemon juice. This will not only lighten the scars but will also remove the dead skin and increase the glow of your face. You could also try to use the famous acne treatment to remove dead skin from your face. This treatment is salicylic acid and works by destroy the protein that binds together dead skin. One thing that you should always take care is to avoid drinking sweetened drinks as sugar can slow down the process of lightening of the scar. At the same time, you should always ensure that you drink at least 8-10 glasses of water daily. Lastly, you can also apply a mixture of orange juice and aloe vera gel on the scar. This will help to reduce the scars as well as revitalize your skin and keep your complexion even.
