Using aloe vera gel and castor oil for eye brow hair loss treatment

Will aloe vera gel regrow eyebrow hair, if there is fungal infection or dermatitis which is not yet confirmed for a 16 year old? Does castor oil causes hair fall on eye brows?

Hair loss on the eyebrows can be a concerning condition as it leads to a great deal of self consciousness. The cause for this, in most cases, is an autoimmune disease. Alopecia areata is a commonly occurring condition that is characterized by hair loss on the eyebrows, scalp or other parts of the body on which there is hair growth. Another reason why hair loss occurs is that the body's immune system mistakes the hair follicles for bacteria and attacks them, in an attempt to protect the body from it. Re-growth of the hair may take quite a while if this happens. Stress and malnutrition can also lead to eyebrow hair fall. Eczema or atopic dermatitis may be the cause, especially if there are other symptoms, such as dryness, itchiness and scaling. It is important to consult your doctor in order to determine the factor that is causing the condition. Once treatment for that particular condition begins, the hair loss will gradually reduce on its own.

Both aloe vera and castor oil are believed to be effective in promoting better growth of eyebrow hair. Aloe vera gel may be added to ground fenugreek seeds and a few drops of onion juice. This may have a pungent smell to it, but applying it regularly helps to encourage normal growth of hair on the eyebrows. You may also apply aloe vera gel directly to the eyebrow areas. Aloe vera also serves to rejuvenate the skin and makes it appear smoother. Castor oil can be massaged into the eyebrows daily before sleeping. It helps in the stimulation of hair follicles, thereby boosting hair growth. Warm castor oil works better in nourishing the hair roots and if you find that the consistency is too thick, you can even mix it with other oils such as grape seed or almond oil.

There are some other natural remedies you can try out to promote growth of eyebrow hair. Fresh onion juice is effective in hair re-growth. Massaging the skin with warm olive oil or coconut oil also helps to support normal growth of hair on the eyebrows. Coconut milk may also be applied to the areas on a daily basis. Eyebrow hair contains protein and hence filling up on proteins will help to ensure good hair growth. Brushing the eyebrow area in the direction of hair growth also helps to stimulate blood circulation, which will in turn improve hair growth.
