It is important for you to know that as we age, we begin to lose hair all over the body. This is fairly common, and nothing to be unduly alarmed about. If you have reached the age of 50 years, losing hair is part and parcel of hitting that number. It is good that you are healthy, and you should be assured that losing hair is not a sign of poor health in any way. If you have mild diabetes, then you should take care of yourself so as to avoid letting it affect your body adversely. There is no scientific evidence to suggest that a case of mild diabetes will lead to hair fall all over the body. As a matter of fact, there is no scientific evidence to link hair fall and mild diabetes altogether. So you can be at ease on that score. However, it is important that you take care of your diabetic condition to improve your general health.

If you are also losing hair on your head, which is where most people lose most of it normally, then you can take certain steps that will help to reduce this hair fall. It could also be possible that these steps will help to arrest your bodily hair fall. You can begin by adding fenugreek to your diet. This is a natural herb that will help to arrest hair fall and will also lead to stronger and better hair. It may also help top arrest hair fall on your body. The other thing you can do is to include onions in your diet. Onions are proven to promote hair growth, though they are more effective when applied topically. But intake will help you too. Both these are also good for controlling your diabetes. Onions, when eaten raw are particularly recommended for normalizing your blood sugar. Fenugreek is also helpful in neutralizing blood sugar. If you cannot find this herb fresh, it is available in pill form in stores that sell natural and organic products.

In order to control your diabetes, you can take a half glass of freshly squeezed bitter gourd juice every morning. Whatever little raised blood sugar you have will be taken care of by this method. It is important you remember that the juice should be fresh, because it has a tendency to become toxic if left for even 15 minutes. A daily regiment of mild exercise will also help you considerably.
