The best thing for you to do is first find out what kind of sap has affected you. Some of these are dangerous and may need medical care. They tend to settle into your skin and form bacterial patches there. While this is generally not painful, it is inadvisable to let it spread all over. Your best bet is to try and get a sample of whatever plant secreted the sap that has affected you. Show this to your local nursery so that they can help you identify it. Once you have managed to identify it, you will be able to deal with it better. In a lot of cases, the best thing to do is to wait out these marks till the winter arrives. Sometimes, they simply go away on their own and do not really need any assistance. The cold may help with destroying them too. Meanwhile, you can try to rub some fresh lime juice on the parts where the sap has left stains. This is known to be very effective in removing stains of all kinds from the skin. Do not rub for more than about 15 minutes, as this can also work towards drying up your skin a lot. Leave it on for a while and then wash with water, repeat daily if you see results.
Another good remedy is to massage baby oil on your marked areas. The oil will gently remove the stains over time. You can also use regular petroleum jelly. The objective is to have the grease gently work the stains off the skin. This may also take a lot of time to happen, so please do not be in a hurry to get rid of the stains. Some types of sap can be really tough to remove and you may find that at times, the best thing to do is, leave it alone. It will come out on its own. If you feel that using a scrubber to get rid of the stains is workable, then try that too. This will help a bit, but remember not to rub your hands raw. You should try and use warm water to remove these stains. Cold water may enable to stain to set more firmly and deeply into your skin. Do not use bleach or other such harsh chemicals on your skin. This can cause permanent damage and it is not worth the removal of temporary stains that will go anyway.
