Dry Acne Prone Skin It is not rare to have dry skin that is prone to acne. It is a myth that acne only affects people who have excessively oily skin. Acne can also be a result of various other factors such as stress, constipation, chronic indigestion, improper eating habits, excessively eating junk food and eating too much of fatty food. These habits can give you rampant acne, irrespective of your skin type. Admittedly, it is simpler to find easy remedies for oily acne. But this does not mean that those for dry skin acne do not exist. As a matter of fact there is a variety of dietary and lifestyle changes that can actually take care of your problem quite effectively.
Make it a point to go to sleep before 10 pm. This means you should eat before 9 pm. This will improve your general health and skin considerably. As mentioned earlier, cut back on fatty and junk food. If you are having problems such as constipation and indigestion, they will also be taken care of. Make it a point to wash your face at least twice a day and apply a mild grease free cream to it. This will keep it appropriately moisturized and yet free of acne. You can apply a paste made of sandalwood and rose water topically to your pimples. This will make them disappear quite easily.
