Frizzy hair indicates a lack of moisture and natural oil in the hair shafts. Since your hair shafts are naturally absorbent, the moisture in the air settles into the hair making the shafts stand up and look frizzy. Some people have naturally frizzy hair, but in your case there may be other external factors that are causing the problem. You need to first understand why your hair is frizzy and falling, and work on that problem. Malnutrition is one of the reasons for frizzy hair and hair fall. If your hair lacks protein, it will become dry and will also fall off. Another reason is overuse of styling products like hair color, bleach, or dye, and also of styling equipments like irons and hairdryers. Other than these, overexposure to the sun, strong winds, and humid weather conditions can also cause frizz. So, avoid all these factors to see an improvement in your hair. Always cover your hair when you step out, do not wash it everyday or pour hot water on it. You also need to get adequate nutrition through a balanced diet and drink lots of water everyday; water hydrates the body as well as the hair.

There are many home remedies that will help you fix the problem of frizzy hair and hair loss. You must start with oiling and conditioning your hair well. Olive oil is very beneficial for frizzy hair, whether you massage it into your scalp and hair or include it in your diet. Similarly, emu oil and jojoba oil are also great controllers of frizz. Emu oil is highly rich in Omega 3 fatty acids because of which it is extremely penetrative and hydrates the scalp and hair shafts really well. Choosing shampoos that contain jojoba oil or emu oil will be good for your hair. You can also give your hair the required amount of protein by deep conditioning it. Make a mix of eggs and full fat mayonnaise and pour it into your hair. Cover your hair with a plastic cap and let it stay for about 45 minutes. For better results, you can set a blow dryer on low setting and move over the plastic cap for about 10 minutes. Add vinegar to a cup of water and use it as final rinse to control the frizz effectively. Apply a paste of olive oil and egg on your hair and let it stay for 30 minutes before washing the hair off.
