I have a problem of dark skin. When I remove my under legs and underarms hair after few minutes back those parts seems so dark (black). I want to make those body parts white as other parts of my body.

There are various reasons for skin darkening in places like the armpits. One is that the area is constantly submerged with sweat. While we do not feel it, the armpits are one of the areas most densely filled with sweat glands. And due to the fact that the skin there remains folded, there is constant sweat which does not really dry out. This excessive accumulation is one of the primary reasons for darkening of the skin. Sweat contains uric acid, which will darken anything if exposed over a period of time. This accounts for the saltiness is sweat as well as urine. The presence of uric acid in urine is also a reason why the inner thighs are dark. This is another area where skin is in constant friction and adding uric acid and the fact that it remains covered for most part, leads to natural darkening of the skin here.

In order to lighten the skin in these areas, there are a few simple measures that can be taken. The first thing to do is stop using hair dissolving agents. Since you did not mention how exactly you remove your hair, there is a possibility that you are using hair removing agents, which will contain stronger acids and substances that will help to remove hair. These usually also contribute to darkening of the skin over prolonged usage, and are best avoided. Shaving the skin is also something that can contribute to it darkening. While shaving, the top layer of skin is also removed due to the proximity of the razor blade to the skin. And after this, the layer that is left behind is sensitive enough to darken instantly when exposed to sweat. This is probably the reason why your skin appears dark within minutes after you removing hair.

There are a couple of simple home remedies you can use to lighten the color of this skin, but bear in mind that they will take time to show adequate results. One is to apply a concoction of milk powder, lime juice and honey to the skin and leave it on for 15 minutes. Wash with plain water. Alternately, you can also apply an infusion of saffron strands soaked in milk cream to the areas. Both these methods will go a long way towards lightening your skin, but they will take months to show results. The important thing is to not lose patience and give up.
