Controlling Frizzy Hair

I have fine curly, very dry and very frizzy hair. I have spent an x amount of time and money trying to find a product that will cure this problem but without luck. Can you suggest anything please?

The problem you have described is four-fold. We can begin by tackling each part of the problem systematically. The first thing to do is opt for short hair. For problematic hair, this is always a good solution. Short hair is not only easier to maintain and manage; it is also healthier at any given time. For very dry hair, what you lack is mostly appropriate conditioning. Begin by checking your shampoo. It is wiser to opt for a shampoo that is especially for dry hair. Choose a light daily care shampoo and try to wash your hair every day. This is healthier, and with short hair, it is also easier to take care. Always follow your shampoo with applying conditioner. Remember, it is wiser to keep the conditioner in your hair for at least 10 minutes before washing it off thoroughly. So begin your bath by washing your hair first, then applying conditioner and then finally bathing. So the last thing you do will be to wash off the conditioner.

Once a month, apply a health hair pack to your hair. Make one with 3 tablespoons of henna powder, one egg yolk, half a teaspoon of olive oil and a quarter teaspoon of coffee powder. If your hair is light colored, skip the coffee powder. Apply this hair pack and leave it on for at least 3 to 4 hours. Wash with your daily shampoo. You will notice the change in the texture of your hair at once. It is also important to follow a routine for regular hair care. Once a week, apply warm olive oil to your hair and scalp and massage for at least 10 minutes. This can be left overnight and washed off the next morning. This will slowly begin to strengthen your hair and will also help it to ease off on the frizz. You should also avoid using plastic hair brushes and combs. Switch to using only wooden ones. This is because plastic implements used in your hair will cause greater frizz due to static, particularly when the weather is cold. You must also make it a point to brush your hair twice daily, and for at least five minutes each time. For this, you need to go by the clock. This brushing will help by massaging your scalp and improving circulation. This will lead to healthier hair. Do remember that all of these methods collectively will take about a month to work, so be patient.
