If you are using a lotion, ensure that your skin is left a little damp after your bath since this facilitates the application and absorption of the cream. Before you have your bath, make it a point to massage some warm oil into your skin. You can use baby oil or sesame oil. Leave this for at least fifteen minutes before you wash it off. You can also use milk or milk cream to moisturize your skin. Always remember to add a pinch of turmeric powder to the milk or the cream before you apply it on the skin. Leave this on for some time and then wash off.
