Cures for Itchy Dry Skin

Very often we notice that our skin begins to feel stretched. If you look closely at your skin, you will be surprise to find that it actually looks dry. Dry skin is caused by different reasons in different people. While some people react badly to the changes in the weathers, for other it is a problem that is related to their dietary habits and the atmosphere they live in. In some extreme cases the dry skin can also cause an itch, making you long to scratch yourself.  When a person suffers from extremely dry skin, this leads to a constant itching. When people scratch themselves constantly, it could also result in the skin breaking and blood oozing out.

You can prevent your skin from becoming this dry by keeping the heating turned low. Place bowls of water around the house to ensure that the airr contains sufficient moisture. Your bath water should always be tepid, and never hot. Adding some bath oil to your water will help you too. You can make bath oil at home. Mix a tablespoon of castor oil with ten drops of either sandalwood oil or mint scented oil. Add this to your bath water regularly.
