Dry Skin Spot Remedies

Dry skin spots are quite a common problem stemming from problems with the ability of your body to produce and store lipids and sebum. These are two natural moisturizers produced by the body. These spots could at times be a sign of eczema, a dry skin rash.

Cosmetic and beauty products like soaps and detergents are quite often the culprits as they contain harsh ingredients like sulphates, perfumes, alcohol and parabens, known to cause skin problems. For this reason it would be best for you to go in for natural products and to even try using homemade applications. These are completely safe and effective, and unlike the commonly available products these have no side effects.

Swimming and long showers or frequent washing can also cause skin problems because over exposure to water ironically reduces the moisture of your skin, washing out natural oils. Try using homemade faces masques and ointments as these can be very beneficial for your skin.

Green Tea has beneficial flavonoids and can be very good for your skin care as it provide antioxidant support. Omega - 3 Fatty Acids are also essential for healthy skin as they support the circulatory and metabolic health of your system. Burdock Root is also excellent as a blood purifier and helps maintain a healthy skin tone.
