Remedy for Electricity In Hair
Static electricity while combing is a very common experience. Commonly it does not trouble, however some people may experience it in a greater proportion, which can be troublesome.
Static electricity cannot be avoided completely. However, it can be reduce largely. A very simple thing to do for this is applying a hair spray on the hair. This can be done with the help of a pump as well. Such a spray is enough to prevent any troublesome static electricity. On applying a spray, you can comb the hair. Applying gel as well is very effective. This will also be useful for setting your hair.
Carpets or footwear both are bad conductors of electricity. Therefore, electricity, which builds up during combing the hair, is stored in your body itself. Thus building up of static electricity actually results into the shock. If you stand directly on the floor, which conducts static electricity it will never build up in your body and therefore you will not experience any shock while combining. Alternatively, you can also stand in touch of walls some thing, which conducts static electricity.

Natural Treatment for Electricity in Hair
If you have the persistent problem of "electricity" in your hair, the first thing you should know is that it is actually called static. The fine sparks that come out of your hair with a snap and a crackle are actually static which is created due to excessive dryness in the environment as well as your hair. In such cases, when you touch certain substances like plastic, synthetic fibers or wool to the dry object (your hair, in this case), then there will be some element of static generated.
The first thing you need to do is stop using plastic combs and brushes to your hair. This will instantly stop the sparks from flying. You must switch to using wooden combs and brushes, as this will help you greatly. The second thing you should know is that you probably have excessively dry hair. Dry hair can be relieved with almost any kind of oil which would condition it suitably. You can apply olive, almond or coconut oil to your hair and leave this on overnight at least twice a week. This will start changing the texture of your hair from dry to generally healthy. A cup of milk cream with a tablespoon of lavender oil will also make your hair very healthy, sleek and glossy. Applying castor oil to your scalp and fomenting it with hot water will also help to moisturize the roots of your hair. Soak a towel in extremely hot water, squeeze it out and wrap it around your head after applying the oil. Once the towel cools, repeat the process. Do this for at least about four to five times before you wash off the oil.
