Dry skin can not only be painful but also look really bad. Using lotions and creams of different kinds is one way of ensuring that your skin looks moisturized. However, in order to ensure that your skin looks healthy, you should try some easy home remedies. Regular application of milk cream can very effectively ensure that your skin looks moisturized. Not only this, it will also acquire a glow and feel soft to the touch. The addition of some turmeric to the milk cream ensures that your skin is healthy since turmeric acts as an antiseptic.

You can also mix some honey with equal quantities of milk. This mixture can be smothered over your face and throat. Warm water should be used to rinse this ten minutes after application. Add half a teaspoon of olive oil to a raw egg. One teaspoon of honey added to this completes this beauty face mask. Mix and apply on your face and neck. Apricots also work well to moisturize your skin. Mash the apricots. Add olive oil which has been warmed well. This will form a paste which will work wonders for your skin. Apply this on your face and wash after you have left it on for about ten minutes. For the blackheads on your nose you should mix freshly squeezed lemon juice with equal quantity of rose water. Apply on your face. This can be left for half an hour and then washed off. Another effective remedy is to use the skin of a used lemon to massage the area where you have the blackheads. You can use orange peel on your face. All you have to do is to use some water to grind the orange peel into a paste. This is an effective face mask.

Use fine cinnamon powder and mix this with equal quantity of lemon juice to make a paste. This should be applied on the affected area regularly to reduce the blackheads. You should clean your face regularly. Rather than using water, you can use rose water. Dip a clean cotton ball in the rose water and use this to clean your face. Your diet also plays an important role in ensuring that you have healthy skin. If your daily diet includes food that is highly spiced and uses a lot of oil, then this could be the reason for your blackheads. Instead, you should eat healthy food like fruits and vegetables, drink fluids at regular intervals through the day.
