What does skin cancer of the nose mean? Can you tell me something about it?

Cancer growth on Nose
Skin cancer of the nose is not a type of cancer. However basal cell carcinoma often manifests itself on the nasal region. This is the most commonly found form of skin cancer, while squamous cell carcinoma is the second. Desipte the fact that they are the most common of all cancers, they account for under 0.1% of patient fatalities caused by cancer. The success rate directly corresponds with the stage at which treatment is administered.
Basal cell carcinoma has it's beginnings in the upper layer of skin called the epidermis. It grows slow and is painless. If a new skin growth bleeds easily or has problems healing it could be a symptom of basal cell carcinoma. Most of such cancers occur on regions of skin, regularly exposed to sunlight or any other form of ultraviolet radiation. Basal cell skin cancer in most cases does not spread, but leaving it untreated could allow for its growth into surrounding areas.
Basal cell skin cancer needs to be treated with greater care and efficiency when it manifests itself near any of the orifices as they can behave aggressively and spread to neighboring areas. This form of cancer commonly affects the nose and it should be treated with as much speed as possible, as it can spread to neighboring areas, like the eye.
