Advice on Skin Cancer Rash
As you have not mentioned the skin cancer treatment that you are undergoing or the nature of your rash, I would not really be able to advise you on any available treatments. The rash could be a reaction to any new drugs that you might be taking as part of any ongoing skin cancer treatment. Do not use any antibiotic creams or medication as this could reaction with your treatment. It is important that you do not try to treat your rash, but instead visit your doctor immediately. If you are unable to consult your regular doctor, make sure that you take your entire medical file with you when you visit a new doctor. This will provide him with information regarding your medical history as well as various drugs and treatments that you have undergone.
You can use a salve to temporarily reduce your discomfort. Try to reduce the use of cosmetic products as these could further irritate your skin. Try using thin cotton pads dipped in cold water to reduce inflammation. Many cancer treatments weaken the body's immune system, making it more susceptible to infection. Try to follow a healthy diet that includes plenty of yogurts (they contain pro-biotics) to help your body combat invading viruses.
