Skin Cancer Spots
I have been trying to understand what skin cancer spots are for a long time. Can you help?

Symptoms of Skin Cancer
Skin cancer spots are marks that appear on the skin that typically herald the presence of the cancer on your skin. There are various types of spots that can appear on your skin which will tell you that there is a problem somewhere and that you need to address it and get yourself examined for skin cancer. Melanoma, or the deadliest type of skin cancer is indicated most of the time by the presence of a mole that keeps growing in size and dimension. This mole can also become itchy and crack open. Sometimes, it may also bleed and be excessively painful, though this is extremely rare.
The other type of skin cancer, known as basal cell skin cancer, develops as shiny marks along the surface of the skin. These may be rough in texture and will most of the time be within the skin, that is, they will not show up as bumps, but as marks. This is the commonest type of skin cancer that is rampant in human beings. The third type of skin cancer, squamous cell skin cancer, manifests itself as smooth and pearly textured bumps on the surface of the skin. These bumps are also usually darker than the rest of your skin. If you detect the presence of any such, or any other type of marks on your skin that are persistent for more than a month, the best thing to do is go for a medical examination right away.
