Skin Cancer Spread
I have just been diagnosed with skin cancer and I want to know how this disease spreads? Can you tell me anything more?

Advice on Skin Cancer Spread
There are three basic types of skin cancer that can affect you. They are basal cell skin cancer, squamous cell skin cancer and malignant melanoma. You need to specify which kind of skin cancer you have been diagnosed with, as all of the three have different rates of growth and methods of treatment. For most part, melanoma is the fastest spreading and most dangerous type of skin cancer that can be contracted by human beings. It also has the possibility of being fatal. This is because it is not easy to detect unless you are looking out for it and it has a tendency to spread fairly quickly. It is also highly malignant in nature and will not leave room for treatment or effective cures if not taken care of soon enough.
Basal cell and squamous skin cancer are the kinds of the disease that will not spread; rather they will have a tendency to remain in one part of your skin. But this is only in the case that the cancer is detected early and appropriate steps are taken to treat it accordingly. Both of these cancers can be taken care of by fairly simple treatment methods that are becoming more and more easily available, this making them fall within the realm of curable cancers.
