For this you will need to soak five to six almonds overnight. In the morning grind these to a smooth paste using some milk. Apply this on your face and your neck. This can be kept on for half an hour and then washed off.
Squeeze the juice from one lemon. Mix some turmeric to this. Apply this on your face and your neck. This helps remove the tan that you may have acquired working in the sun. Slices of raw potato on the face work wonders. So do slices of cucumber. You can also peel a raw potato, grate it and then tie up the gratings in a thin piece of cloth. This can be applied to your face in order to get rid of the tan. Your lifestyle also plays an important role in deciding the way your skin looks. If you keep late hours and are unable to get sufficient sleep, then your skin will look unhealthy. You should sleep for at least eight hours a night. Stress can also rob your face of its natural color and charm and so you should ensure that you are not stressed. Regular physical exercise will keep you healthy and this will be reflected in your general health. Since you work in the sun, you should ensure that your intake of water is high. Other liquids like unsweetened fruit juices, or buttermilk can also be consumed. You should avoid sweet food or food that contains a large quantity of cheese or white flour. These can be replaced with whole grain products and food cooked using a minimum of oil and spices.
