Herbal Skin Care Tips

Herbal skin care rejects chemical treatments and concentrates on natural cures instead. I would definitely recommend a herbal skin care routine as it is gentle on the skin. Many creams can cause permanent discoloration, herbal remedies have the advantage of having no scary side effects. Very often skin creams meant to treat acne can be very harsh on the skin and leave permanent dark or light brown marks.

Unfortunately, herbal treatments require a lot of patience as it sometimes takes quite a while to obtain significant changes. You can also use herbal skin remedies along with other treatments to soothe irritated or inflamed skin as well as to speed up the healing process.

You can add a few spoons of fennel to the water when you are steaming your face as it has a cleansing effect on the skin. You can add a handful of mint leaves to your bath water to help to stimulate your skin as well as cure mild skin disorders. You can boil a couple of Rosemary leaves in a glass of water and use this water as a last rinse after you wash your face. This mixture helps to prevent wrinkles. These are just some of the easier herbal remedies and although it will take a while for significant results, it is well worth the wait.
