Sensitive Skin Care If you have sensitive skin it is very important to make sure you use products that are mild and soothing. Avoid skin care products that are loaded with harsh chemicals and opt for all natural or homemade products whenever possible.
All skin needs to be cleansed and moisturized regularly in order for it to glow with health. In case of sensitive skin it is best to avoid any kind of soap and stick to natural cleansers such as a blend of water and tea tree oil. Face washes that are especially made to be gentle on the skin and include natural essential oils such as lavender, rose or jasmine can all be used to gently cleanse the skin. If you wish to exfoliate you should stick to scrubs that are not too coarse and again not overly loaded with chemicals. Homemade scrubs that contain oatmeal and honey with a few drops of rose oil can be gently rubbed over the face in small, circular motions. Avoid pressing down too hard on the skin and avoid areas that have open cuts or bruises. Leave the scrub on as a face pack for a few minutes and wash it off with warm water.
