Skin Care Lotion Skin care lotion is an ointment of sorts which you can use on your skin. There are many kinds of skin care lotions available quite easily all over the markets. There are also some extremely specific skin care lotions you can use for various parts of your body that would have various types of skin. These would include hand lotions, body lotions, face lotions, foot lotions and general lotions that can be applied pretty much everywhere. A lotion is different from a cream in that it is generally comprised of a lighter kind of creamy option than pure cream. It is also more runny and thinner than cream.
For most part, a lotion will serve the same purpose as any cream that would ordinarily be recommended for the same reason. But lotions, being lighter and less greasy, tend to be more absorbent and rarely just sit on your skin the way thick creams do. At the same time, lotions will provide all the advantages of creams too. You must choose a lotion that is suitable to your skin type, as this is the most important factor in deciding how well the lotion will work. It is also a good practice to keep trying newer lotions all the time, as your skin and its needs keep changing frequently.
