Vitamin C Skin Care Advice

Vitamin C is an extremely important nutrient that is required for immunity and general good health. It is also considered to be one of the best nutrients that protects the skin from all kinds of external assaults and diseases. Furthermore, vitamin C also contains the all important ingredient for skin, collagen, which will help with retarding the effects of aging and delay the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Vitamin C is extremely important in your diet for good health and vitality and skin care based on vitamin C follows the method of only topical application. This is mainly because vitamin C has not yet been successfully integrated into cosmetics or creams and lotions of any kind due to its inability to retain its pure chemical form when exposed to air.

Vitamin C facials are particularly commonly recommended for better and healthier skin, especially skin that has been malnourished for any length of time. This would involve massage with a basic light cream and the help of either vitamin C capsules of fresh cut fruits that are rich sources of the nutrient such as oranges. You can also go for vitamin C wraps which are excellent for the skin. Vitamin C soaks are also available for those who wish to immerse their whole body in the nutrient.
