Dry Hair Natural Cures

Straightening and re-bonding uses lots of chemicals which definitely compromise the quality of your beautiful hair. First thing is that you have not mentioned your hair type, as you have said that your hair is rough I am taking in consideration that your hair is dry in nature. Use the shampoo and conditioner made for your hair type, that means if your hair is dry then use shampoo as well as conditioner for dry hair but if your hair is oily then use the same meant for oily hair. The shampoo which you are using is good provided it is for dry or damaged hair. To make your hair smooth and silky you can try these simple tips at home –

  • When you come out of the shower taking a hair bath, wipe your hair gently with a cotton towel. Then tie the same towel (don't use the same one if the towel is too wet) on your head and leave for 15-20 minutes. This will not only give your hair a soft and smooth look but also help to naturally straighten them.
  • To 50 ml of coconut oil add 10 ml lavender oil. Heat in for two minutes till it becomes warm. Massage this warm oil mixture on your scalp thoroughly for 20 minutes at night and wash it off next day morning. This procedure when followed for two times in a week leaves your hair to be soft and shiny. Similarly warm almond oil or warm olive oil also when massaged on the scalp and left overnight also works wonders for damaged hair.
  • Deep conditioner your hair once a week to make them soft, natural conditioners like egg yolk, yoghurt, vinegar and beer also work well to make the hair smooth and silky. Avoid using any chemical treatments for some time till your hair quality is not improved.
