UV Skin Damage

I am a service holder. I have combination skin. I never go under sun except going time from home to office. My problem is my face is blacker than my whole body. How could I get normal color face just like my body?

Firstly how far your office from your place is and what time do you leave for office. These two points are very important because the ultraviolet rays can damage your skin even if you are standing or walking under the sun for 5 minutes. Moreover these rays are at its peak between 8am to 3pm in the day. So if your office time lies in between this time then you will definitely get a tan if you walk to your office. Whenever you walk out in sun make sure that you apply a sunscreen lotion with appropriate sun protecting factor (more than 20 SPF) 20 minutes before you leave for the work. This will help prevent further tanning of the skin. Also do not forget to carry an umbrella or a hat when you leave to walk under the sun. For already tanned skin try the following home remedies -

Cut a slice of potato and rub the inner contents on the face gently. Leave it for 10-15 minutes and then rinse it off with cold water.

You can apply vitamin E oil, aloe vera gel or calamine lotion if the skin on your face turns red, burns or itches.

Take out the juice of fresh lemon and mix sugar to it. Rub this mixture gently on your face before the sugar melts in circular motion. This remedy will not only help to remove the sun tan on your face but will also help to make your skin soft and smooth.

Mix 1 table spoon of raw potato juice to 1 table spoon of fresh lime juice. Apply this mixture on the face and leave it for 15 minutes. Rinse it off with cold water; this is a very effective remedy to lighten the skin which is dark due to sun tan.
