Remedies to tone down the red in my hair

Every time I dye my hair brown, I always end up getting a tint of red in it. What can I do to tone down the red in my hair?

A shampoo with ammonium laurel sulfate is used to wash away the color faster, if you are not for that color. Blend a teaspoon of developer and a teaspoon of color and apply  it at the hair ends. Tin foil can be used to protect the other hair strands. Based on the instructions on the pack, rinse and dry hair. Look at it in broad day light and thus finalise the color. If still unsuccessful, take the guidance of an expert.
