Deep conditioning can bring bounce and smoothness along with the shine in your hair. You will need certain things for deep conditioning like towels, hair brush, shower cap and hair clips. All the hair strands have three layers; deep conditioning affects the outer layer of the hair which is called cuticle. When hair becomes dry and frizzy this outer layer tends to get apart from the other two layers. Deep conditioning helps to join the cuticle to the hair shaft and give a smooth and shiny look to the hair. It can add strength to your hair until they grow and are long enough to cut off. If you are looking for a deep conditioner, learn to read the labels properly. If a label says that leave the product for 5 minutes in the hair then it is not a deep conditioner. Look out for products which says that a plastic wrap should be used on it while it is working and the product should be left on the hair for more than 10 minutes to anywhere for 20-25 minutes depending on the severity of damage. Before starting any deep conditioning process brush your hair with a broad tooth comb to remove all the tangles from the hair. Wash hair with a shampoo suitable for your hair type, rinse and towel dry. Make center part to part your hair in two half, then to part them in four parts divide them from tip of one ear to the tip of other ear. Clip each part and start with one section. Now apply the conditioner on each part thoroughly using your fingers. As one part is done clip it and start with the other part. Apply a thin coat of the conditioner starting from the top working to the ends. After you apply the conditioner in all the parts place a plastic cap on the head. Wrap a hot towel or sit out in the sun if the weather is hot for 15-20 minutes. Rinse the conditioner and towel dry your hair.
