I am a homemaker tired of hunting some true information on fungal skin rashes, anyone here that can help me.

Fungus Skin Rash
Fungal skin rashes are the infections on the skin caused by fungus. There are many types of fungal skin rashes like, dermatophyte infection, athlete's foot, nail infection, ringworm of the groin, body, scalp, yeast infections, intertrigo, thrush, etc. The causes of fungal skin rashes are recently taken course of antibiotics, oral steroids, diabetes, and obesity, history of fungal infections or weakened immune system caused by diseases like, cancer or aids. Fungal infections are more common in people belonging to the African and Caribbean regions. Fungal infections generally occur on the skin, which is moist for a long time. Damage to the skin surface may also encourage fungi growth. The symptoms of fungal skin rashes depend on the fungus causing the infection and the area of the body, which is affected. Different fungi cause the appearance of different rashes on the skin. Some are red scaly or itchy while others are fine scales resembling dry skin. The rash may be localized to a specific area or generalized. The scalp or beard infection may cause severe hair loss. There are many treatments for fungal rashes in the form of lotions, creams, medicated powders and tablets. Drying your body properly and wearing loose dry clothes is the best way to prevent fungal rashes.
