HIV Skin Rash

Advice on HIV Skin Rash

An HIV skin rash occurs due to hindrances in the immunity level. A skin rash may also occur due to the medications, which are used to treat the HIV virus. It is observed that 90% of the people suffering from HIV virus suffer from a skin problem or skin condition during the length of infection. The skin rash caused by the HIV virus is flaky in nature. This is one of the symptoms of HIV. An HIV rash, which occurs due to the medication, can be noticed after a few weeks after the medication has been started. Most people suffer from mild or moderate skin rash, which subsidizes on continued intake of appropriate drugs. However, some people may suffer from skin rashes, which maybe very severe or even fatal at times. For a mild or moderate skin rash, the doctor might just bring about some changes in your medications or treat you with certain antibiotics. However, it is crucial to take the advise of  a doctor before stopping or changing any medicines. In case of a severe rash, your doctor may stop the medication or take intense medical treatment. The medicine that you are allergic to must be identified immediately to prevent further damage to your body.
