A skin rash is a common skin problem so many people tend to neglect this skin condition. Anybody can experience a skin rash. A skin rash is the condition of the skin in which the skin undergoes a change in color and texture. The skin can dry up and become cracked or inflamed. Generally, a skin rash is not dangerous but some skin rashes may prove to be life threatening. Hence, proper diagnosis and treatment of a skin rash is very important. Preventing a skin rash is a difficult task because a variety of factors contribute to the eruption of a skin rash. The common causes of skin rash are anxiety, allergy, and fungal, bacterial or viral infection. Skin rashes are the primary symptoms of many chronic diseases like chicken pox, measles, etc. so the proper identification of a skin rash is very important. Rashes are of many types. Some rashes are both itchy and scaly, some are only scaly, and some appear to be brown and flat. Some rashes have no cure but the symptoms can be reduced by proper use of disease specific medicines. Once a skin rash is diagnosed one should consult a doctor immediately and begin the recommended treatment.
